How much is it to participate in the league?

It is $50 per session which is eight (8) weeks. The full season consists of two eight (8) sessions which totals $100 per person for a full season. You are not obligated to play both sessions. There is a 5% discount if paid online.

What are the demographics of the league?

You have all ages, races, and classes – basically anyone who likes to have a good time and enjoy the great scenery playing on the Detroit River.

Do I have to wear white shorts and a polo?

There is no dress code, but cutoff shirts and sweat pants wouldn’t be the best choice.

I am not very athletic, can I play?

Not a problem. If you can stand up and walk, then you are athletic enough for croquet. You walk around the playing fielding and enjoy the game, which is more mental than physical.

I don’t have a full team, can I play?

Yes, register because there are most likely people like yourself saying the same thing. If you don’t feel comfortable yet, come down and meet some of the folks playing…everyone is welcoming and love to play with new players and share their love for the game.

When does the season start?

May 26th and ends after labor day.

What time are the games/matches and when?

They are located at the Omni Hotel and start at 6pm. Most teams get out around 8pm, unless a game/match runs long, then of course you are finishing a bit later.
